PSALM 64

Be Glad in The LORD

To the director; a psalm to David.

1 Hear, O God, my voice! in my beseeching to you. [³from ⁴the fear ⁵of the enemy ¹Rescue ²my soul]! 2 Shelter me from the conspiracy of the ones acting wickedly! from the multitude of the ones working iniquity. 3 The ones who sharpened [²as ³a broadsword ¹their tongues]; they stretched tight their bow [²thing ¹for a bitter]; 4 to shoot in concealed places at the unblemished; suddenly they will shoot him, and they will not fear. 5 They determined for themselves [²matter ¹an evil]; they describe to themselves how to hide snares. They said, Who shall see them? 6 They searched out lawlessness; they failed while searching out in the search. [²shall come forward ¹Man] and the heart is deep, 7 and God shall be exalted; the arrow of infants became their calamities; 8 and [²treated him with contempt ¹their tongues]. [⁵were disturbed ¹All ²the ones ³viewing ⁴them]; 9 and [³was fearful ¹every ²man]. And they announced the works of God, and [²his actions ¹they perceived]. 10 [²shall be glad ¹The just] in the lord, and shall hope upon him; and [⁵shall be praised ¹all ²the ³straight ⁴in heart].
